On one hand this blog is a continuation of a previous Kohrman Report that I ran while living in Indiana, on the other it is the first step in a relaunch of Forgotten Detroit. It will feature commentary on deindustrialization, abandonment, architecture and development news, stories on buildings that I don’t intend to make full features for, as well as replace the updates page. I will also include photos and stories of buildings from other cities in the Great Lakes region and beyond, to help put Detroit’s situation in context.
