The Palm Room

"Adjoining the main dining room is a small afternoon tea or after-dinner coffee room, with entrances also on the lobby lounge. This extraordinary little room is delicately treated, the same as the lobby lounge, with light, graceful chairs and settees, enameled in soft green and ivory with rose and gold striped upholstry and cane backs. The coffee tables are ivory with light green decoration, and have glass tops laid over black moire silk. The windows are hung with casement cloth, as are all other windows in the public rooms, with overdrapes of striped rose and gold satin."
