Since its first conception in 1999 I have been suprised with some of the attention this site has received. I was proud to win the April 1999 "Best New Site" award from The International Urban Adventure Site. Given the number of urban exploration sites out there, this was quite the honor.

Later in 1999 I was interviewed as part of an article about urban exploration in Detroit. Published originally in the Metro Times and later in the Utne Reader, this article can be read here.

In January 2002 I was honored to have this site featured in the Detroit News/Free Press websites of the week feature. The review can be read here.
