Madison Theater

During the First World War the premier theater district moved from Monroe Avenue towards Grand Circus Park. John Kunsky would team up with Architect C. Howard Crane to design a series of ever more opulent palaces. The first of these was the Madison.

After a 67 year run, and 16 years abandonment, this delightful classical auditorium was swept away. The following is a brief tribute.
